Using Nod
Nod provides access to narrated books and related listening features for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. These terms restrict copying, redistribution, resale, reverse engineering, and use for model training or competing datasets of Nod's software, service, and generated recordings, except where applicable law expressly permits it. They do not claim exclusive rights in underlying public-domain texts or restrict uses of those texts that applicable law permits.
The collection
The Wind in the Willows is available without a purchase, with all launch voices offered for that book. One optional, non-consumable in-app purchase unlocks the other eleven books in the named Nod collection and their launch voices. It is a one-time purchase for this collection, not a subscription or a promise that every future release will be included.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed through Apple and are subject to the App Store's payment and refund terms. The purchase screen shows Apple's price for your storefront before you confirm. You can restore the collection purchase in the app. Refunds are requested through Apple, and a refunded or revoked purchase may no longer provide paid access. Paid access does not transfer ownership of the underlying books or narration assets.
Availability
Books, features, voices, and territories may change when rights, quality review, or technical requirements require it. Internet access may be needed to download catalogue updates, audio, or restore a purchase on a new device. Audio that is included with the app or fully downloaded is intended to remain available offline, subject to device storage, the App Store terms, and these terms.
Books and rights
Nod works from identified editions and reviews publication rights by territory. Public-domain status and edition rights can vary. If you believe content infringes your rights, email hugs@nodbooks.com with enough detail for us to investigate promptly.
Safe and respectful use
Do not interfere with Nod's systems, attempt unauthorized access, evade access controls, upload malicious material, or use support channels abusively. Automated access is not permitted unless we agree to it in writing.
Disclaimers and liability
Nod provides books and listening features for relaxation and entertainment. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency services, or a guaranteed sleep outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to reasonably foreseeable loss.

We may update these terms as Nod develops. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Questions can be sent to hugs@nodbooks.com.
Nod is provided by Apollo Advisors° ABN 34 346 108 139. These terms do not override non-excludable rights under applicable consumer law.
