Using Nod
Nod provides access to narrated books and related listening features for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, or use the service or its audio catalogue to train models or build competing datasets except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Availability
Books, features, voices, territories, and prices may change as rights, quality review, or technical requirements change. We may update or discontinue parts of the service, but will aim to avoid interrupting legitimately downloaded content without good reason.
Purchases
Any in-app purchase will be processed through Apple and subject to the App Store's payment and refund terms. Product details and renewal conditions will be shown before purchase. Paid access does not transfer ownership of the underlying books or narration assets.
Books and rights
Nod works from identified editions and reviews publication rights by territory. Public-domain status and edition rights can vary. If you believe content infringes your rights, email hugs@nodbooks.com with enough detail for us to investigate promptly.
Safe and respectful use
Do not interfere with Nod's systems, attempt unauthorized access, evade access controls, upload malicious material, or use support channels abusively. Automated access is not permitted unless we agree to it in writing.
Disclaimers and liability
Nod is intended for relaxation and entertainment, not medical advice, sleep diagnosis, emergency use, or a guaranteed sleep outcome. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied guarantees beyond non-excludable consumer rights, and our liability is limited to reasonably foreseeable direct loss.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Nod develops. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Questions can be sent to hugs@nodbooks.com.
These launch-stage terms require legal review before paid production release and do not override non-excludable rights under applicable consumer law.
